🚨💔 URGENT UPDATE — ONE HAS PASSED AWAY. WE CANNOT LOSE THE OTHER! 💔🚨

Friends, this is the update I was praying I wouldn’t have to make.

One of the two little minis we have been fighting to save has passed away. 💔😭

My heart is absolutely broken.

We begged for help. We tried to raise the funds. We knew these little guys needed medical attention, and now one of them will never get the chance to experience the love, comfort, and care we wanted so desperately to give him.

AND NOW THERE IS ONLY ONE LEFT.

We do not have days to figure this out. We do not have the luxury of waiting.

HE NEEDS OUT OF THAT PEN NOW! 🚨

This remaining little guy needs medical attention, corrective farrier care, and someone willing to give him a fighting chance.

He may never be sound. He may need lifelong maintenance. But he deserves to know kindness, a soft place to land, and a life where he matters.

We have raised $295 toward our $600 MATCH, and we still need $305 to unlock it!

🙏 PLEASE, I AM BEGGING OUR VILLAGE TO HELP US SAVE THE ONE WE STILL CAN.

If 61 people give just $5, we can reach our match.

I cannot bring the other little one back. I cannot change what happened. But we still have an opportunity to change the ending for his friend.

Please don’t let us lose them both. 💔

If you have ever wanted to make a difference in the life of an animal that everyone else has overlooked, THIS is your moment.

Even $1 matters. Every share matters. Every single person who helps gets us closer.

🐴 ONE LIFE LOST. ONE LIFE STILL WAITING.

PLEASE HELP US GET HIM TO SAFETY! 🙏🏻❤️

🚨 UPDATE: $295 RAISED — $305 TO GO towards our match 🚨

Well, friends… we are getting closer, but these two little minis are STILL sitting at the kill pen, and time is running out. 💔🐴

Thanks to some incredible people, we have now raised $295 toward our $600 MATCH! That means we only need $305 MORE to unlock the full $600 match! ❤️

But here is what weighs so heavily on my heart…

These two little guys need OFF that lot before they disappear. We don’t know how much longer they have, and I cannot stand the thought of them being overlooked simply because they aren’t perfect.

They have physical challenges. They will likely need corrective farrier work, pain management, and ongoing care. But those things don’t make them disposable. They make them animals who need someone willing to fight for them.

We want to be that someone. ❤️

We want to bring them to PAW 4 The Foundation, have them evaluated, address their medical needs, and give them the opportunity to live a comfortable life where they are loved and valued.

I know we ask a lot. I know everyone has their own struggles. But I also know what happens when this incredible village comes together.

🙏 Can we find 61 people willing to donate just $5?

That would get us to our match!

🐴 $295 raised
🐴 $305 still needed
🐴 $600 MATCH waiting to be unlocked!

Please don’t let these two little souls disappear from that pen without us giving them a fighting chance.

They may never be perfect, but they are absolutely worth saving. ❤️

Please donate, share, or tag someone who might help us get them to safety!

Flopsy when we first got her vs now she is still sore she had a very bad abscess in her front hoof that caused a lot of pain we are keeping in padded and wrapped she's such a funny horse. Most of the time you look over at her and she literally looked stoned and then all of a sudden she hears a grain bucket or treat bag and she is as alert as can be.

Looking back and reflecting on Shimmer’s rescue, one thing is so clear: it truly took a village to save this little girl. ❤️

When Shimmer came into our care at the Bowie sale, this tiny baby filly was incredibly sick and needed more medical and supportive care than we could financially provide on our own. We knew we couldn’t do it alone—and thankfully, we didn’t have to.

We will forever be incredibly grateful to All Seated in a Barn | Tahlia Fischer and Dawn Olivieri for stepping up alongside PAW 4 The Foundation when Shimmer needed it most. Their support, along with everyone who donated, prayed, shared her story, transported, cared for her, and cheered her on, helped give this little girl a fighting chance.

Saving Shimmer was a true collaborative rescue effort. No one organization or person did it alone. It took a tribe coming together for one tiny life.

And look at her now. ❤️

Shimmer has since been privately adopted by one of our former volunteers, someone who already knew and loved her. She gets to continue growing, thriving, and simply enjoying the life that so many people fought so hard to give her.

From a critically ill little filly whose future was uncertain to a loved horse in her forever home—this is what rescue is all about.

Thank you, All Seated in a Barn, Moon Mountain Sanctuary, and every single person who became part of Shimmer’s story. Because everyone stepped up when she needed it, Shimmer got her second chance. 🐴❤️

It took a village to save her—and what a beautiful village it is

Well, friends… I’m at a complete halt with these two little minis. 💔

These little dudes need help. They aren’t perfect—they’re a mess. They will most likely need corrective farrier work, pain management, and a full evaluation to figure out what we can do to make them comfortable and give them the best life possible.

And right now, they’re still sitting at the pen.

We were incredibly blessed with a $600 MATCH, but so far we’ve only raised $135 toward unlocking it.

I hate the thought of giving up on them because I keep asking myself… where will they go if we don’t step up? I already know that if we leave them behind, I’ll keep thinking about those two little faces.

So this is one of our final pushes to see if we can make this happen.

They may never be perfect. They may require extra care. But imperfect doesn’t mean unwanted, and it certainly doesn’t mean their lives don’t have value. ❤️

If you can spare $5, $10, $20—or even $1—it all adds up AND gets us closer to unlocking that $600 match.

Please help us get these little guys out of the pen and into our care, where we can find out what they need and give them a chance.

🐴❤️ $600 MATCH — HELP US BRING THESE TWO LITTLE ONES HOME! ❤️🐴

These two little minis have physical challenges, but their lives still have value. They deserve more than to be tossed aside simply because they need extra care.

We want to bring them into PAW 4 The Foundation, give them the rehabilitation, veterinary care, patience, and love they need, and eventually give them a purpose within our education and therapy programs.

Sometimes the ones the world overlooks are the ones who have the most to give.

“One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” — but to us, these babies were never trash. They are lives. ❤️

And right now, your donation goes TWICE as far!

🙏 We have an incredible donor offering a $600 MATCH! Every $5 becomes $10. Every $25 becomes $50. Every $100 becomes $200 — until the match is met.

Every single dollar counts. Together, we can bring these two little ones to safety, start their rehabilitation, and show them that having challenges doesn’t mean their story is over.

They may need us today… but one day, they could be the very ones helping someone else heal. 🐴❤️

Please donate, share, and help us unlock the full $600 match!
