We are so excited to introduce our 2026 interns! These incredible young people will be joining us this summer to lead groups in service-learning trips across the country. We're so excited for our participants to get to know them.

They come from a variety of denominations, including Disciples of Christ, United Church of Christ, United Methodist, and more! Some are currently in undergraduate programs, while others are graduate students, and others are working in their professions. Those who are students represent schools from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, California, to the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia and everywhere in between: the University of Denver, Texas Christian University, University of Texas and DePaul University, to name a few! They have future aspirations of attending law school, becoming psychologists, serving in churches and nonprofits, and more. Each person brings with them a different perspective, and we can't wait for our groups to learn alongside them.

This week we are delighted to be welcoming youth from FUMC Jonesboro, Arkansas who are serving and learning about economic justice at our Bentonville site alongside our site director, Rev. Mark Dingler! Thank you all for spending part of your spring break being the neighbors who partner with God to make our world a more loving place where all people can thrive.

This weekend middle school youth from Country Club Christian Church are on our Kansas City Justice 101 trip led by our Site Director, Tulley Beard! They are spending the weekend being the neighbors who make our communities more loving and just by serving with non profits like Flourish: A Furniture Bank, learning about systemic racism and how to work for change through Dividing Lines, and building community by sitting at tables and worshiping with neighbors whose life experience is different than their own. We are so grateful for the amazing neighbors they are! They are reminding us that, even on days when the news is filled with fear, LOVE will always be louder!ct
