Happy New Year Art of Living Fort Worth friends!

2024 was a very successful and joyous year for us and we couldn’t have done it without the support of all our volunteers, staff and donors. We finished the year off with a bang thanks to Stephen Roderick with the Doswell Foundation. They graciously donated toward the support of our mission of “providing a safe place for the children living within the Presbyterian Night Shelter by providing a safe and fun learning environment where they can come to learn new skills and be surrounded by consistent positive role models.”

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

The Doswell Foundation was founded in 2008 by Florence Annette Doswell, an independent businesswoman and a proud Texan. Her charm and adventuresome spirit made her stand out as a unique, one-of-a kind woman.

The Doswell Foundation continues Florence’s “Legacy of Thoughtful Giving” supporting a wide selection of nonprofits and charities each year. Some of these include The Bridge, Dallas Casa, Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, Hope Cottage, Nexus, The Salvation Army and now the Art of Living Fort Worth.

Christmas celebration for the children at Art of Living, and our theme is The Grinch! 🎄 Their smiles and happiness are truly the best gift of all.

To make this event special, we need your help! Whether through adopting a child for our gift program, donating items or service for the party, or volunteering your time, your contributions can make a world of difference.

🎁 Adopt-a-Child Gift Program

We’re continuing our tradition of adopting a child to bring them personalized presents. When you sign up, you’ll receive details about your child’s sizes, preferences, and wishes. https://signup.com/go/duTzqrj.
Gift Guidelines: Each adopted child should receive:
A jacket
Two gifts
Clothes/Shoes (if possible)
Many people have asked in the past amount how many items or budget. Well to keep it fair and festive, gifts last year averaged $200–$500 per child, combining clothing, shoes, and presents.
Important Note: We currently have 23 children on our list, with up to 4 more possibly joining as families arrive weekly. If you’d like to adopt, please consider adopting a maximum of 2 children to allow more people to participate. Consider adopting one with a friend/family member and divide the list.
