His Royal Highness Prince Anthony of Savoy is the Founder of The Royal House of Savoy Foundation. The Prince is a member of Italy's Royal House, which was established in 1003 and became dismantled in 1946. The fall of the House of Savoy forced family members into exile and shortly after, Italy became a republic, abolishing the monarch. His Great Great Grandfather, Prince Carlo, (Count of Genoa) was one of the last ruling Prince's, along with his brothers..... one being Vittorio Emmanuel III. Prince Anthony was granted an honorary coronation under Giovanni Goria, the Prime Minister of Italy in 1987, organized and officiated by Salvatore Mancuso, a diplomate and delegate for the Italian Consulate in Newark, New Jersey.
H.R.H. Prince Anthony wanted to carry down his family lineage and the importance of charity and public service.
His Royal Highness started this foundation in the hopes of bettering the community, by his contributions through sponsorship and patronage.
Children and Veterans have always been very important. The Prince continues to lend his name and status to benefit those charitable foundations
The House of Savoy Foundation sponsors and works closely with other organizations to help educate, promote and raise funds for those in need.
Through charity events, such as Celebrity Golf, Paintball and Poker Tournaments, Dinner Dances, Art Auctions, and other events. Along with Raffles and Donations.....money is raised to provide supplies, modalities and research.
