WILL YOU HELP SHOW APPRECIATION FOR OUR TROOPS?

Every year PRIDE OF AMERICA PAGEANTS collects items and money for donations. We also have our national contestants write letters and make pillowcases for our TROOPS overseas. We work with the Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas to send care packages to troops overseas.

For 10 years, this organization has had warehouse space donated for their cause. The warehouse has now been sold and they have had to find another place to go. They now have to pay rent, utilities, insurance, etc in addition to the post office raising rates for the care packages. Combine this with the lack of financial donations this year and it means less getting to our troops.

The holidays are coming up fast and in order to get our troops care packages to them in time, they need to be shipped by November 15th. For some, this may be the only remembrance of home and a caring America that they've had all year.

Here's what I'm asking.....I'm asking you to do what you can to help out. Although their main need is financial, there are other ways to help.

2) Write Thank You notes and letters

3) Use your creativity to decorate pillowcases for the troops and Operation Pleasant Dreams (just fabric markers/crayons, no puffy gels)

We are so proud of Both our Pride queens for being named Tease Free Kids Ambassador !! Both young ladies are from Maryland. Jessica was our 2012 Pride of Maryland , 2013 Pride of America Miss, 2014 Pride of America QoQ and now is our 2015 Pride of America Lifetime Queen. Kendall was our 2014 Pride of Maryland and is now our 2015 Pride of America Young Miss !!

THE WAIT IS OVER....Introducing our new Pride of America National crowns They match our state crowns perfectly, just quite bigger! Ours have a bit of color as well (Sapphire and Deep Red). These should fit our girls much better than the round crowns!

Compete at our OPEN National competition May 23-25 (Memorial Day weekend) in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. Deadline to enter approaching quickly! State appointed titles still available as well!

Compete in: Interview/Introduction (ages 4+), Patriotic wear, Evening wear, On stage Question (ages 16+), A Little About Me Q&A (7+). 12 Optionals to choose from, a group of mini optionals available as well as several free competitions. Divisions for ALL Ages Baby through Legacy! A Family competition is also available - up to 5 girls from one family (throughout generations) to compete in a choreographed casual wear competition!

We don't just compete over the weekend, we also do a group Community Service Project, have a PJ party (or 2), and go on a group outing! A fun weekend for all!
