πŸ’™ Let’s talk resilience. πŸ’™

Life can throw a lot at us.... Stress, challenges, unexpected hardships, and even trauma. Yet somehow, people still find ways to keep going, heal, and grow stronger.

✨ What helps YOU manage stress and function well during difficult times?

Maybe it’s:
πŸ’¬ Talking to someone you trust
πŸ™ Faith or prayer
πŸƒ Exercise or movement
🎨 Hobbies or creativity
πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§ Support from family and friends
🧘 Self care or quiet time
πŸ“š Therapy or counseling

There’s no β€œright” answer, and your story could encourage someone else today. ❀️

🌸 It's Almost Spring Break 🌸

πŸ‘‰https://fortworthreport.org/2025/03/08/looking-for-spring-break-activities-for-your-kids-check-these-out-in-fort-worth-arlington/

Some fun ideas around the area include:

🌳 Visiting local parks or the Trinity Trails
πŸ’§ Exploring the Fort Worth Water Gardens, a downtown urban park with waterfalls and pools
🌸 Walking through the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and enjoying the outdoor scenery
🎨 Participating in free art activities like Spring Break at the Carter Museum

πŸ’‘ Spring Break Tip for Parents:
Mix fun with responsibility! Have kids complete one small chore each day before heading out for a fun activity.

Example:
βœ” Clean room
βœ” Help cook a meal
βœ” Organize toys
βœ” Help with laundry

Small responsibilities can help kids feel proud and involved while still enjoying their break.

Tarrant County will have plenty of free and affordable activities during spring break March 10-13 and March 17-21. Here are some to consider.

πŸ’ Love looks a little different in kinship care, and it’s powerful!

This Valentine’s Day, we want to recognize the love, patience, and commitment shown every day by kinship caregivers. Stepping up for a child isn’t always easy, but it’s one of the most meaningful acts of love there is.

To all the grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, and extended family members holding families togetherβ€”we see you, we appreciate you, and we thank you. πŸ’ž

πŸ’Œ Free Valentine’s Activity for Kids:
Have kids make a β€œHearts of Gratitude” chain πŸ’–
β€’ Cut out paper hearts
β€’ On each heart, write or draw something they love or appreciate about their family
β€’ Tape or staple the hearts together and hang them up

Simple, fun, and a great way to celebrate family love ❀️

Drop your favorite colored❀️ in the comments to show love to our caregivers!
