Program Vision
To empower young people with the skills, confidence, and networks they need to thrive academically, socially, and professionally by connecting them with caring mentors and growth opportunities.

Target Audience
• Youth ages 12–18 (middle school & high school).
• Priority given to underserved communities and youth seeking positive role models.

Program Structure
1. Mentor–Mentee Matching
• Screen mentors (background check, orientation, training).
• Match based on interests, goals, and personality.
• One-on-one or small group mentoring options.
2. Weekly Mentorship Sessions (1–2 hours)
• Academic support (homework help, tutoring, study skills).
• Life skills development (financial literacy, communication, conflict resolution).
• Career exposure (guest speakers, workplace visits, job shadowing).
3. Monthly NIICE Workshops
Each month has a theme tied to NIICE values:
• Nurturing: Mental health, self-care, mindfulness.
• Innovation: Entrepreneurship, tech skills, creative arts.
• Inspiration: Leadership development, motivational speakers.
• Character: Ethics, values, community service.
• Empowerment: Advocacy, civic engagement, financial independence.
4. Quarterly Community Projects
• Mentors and mentees collaborate on service initiatives (clean-ups, food drives, youth-led advocacy campaigns).
• Builds teamwork, leadership, and community pride.
5. Annual NIICE Youth Summit
• Celebration of achievements.
• Student presentations, performances, awards, and networking with community leaders.

• Orientation on youth development, cultural competency, trauma-informed practices.
