💙 Today is Giving Day! 💙

Today, we’re asking you to consider making a difference in the lives of children and families in our community who face food insecurity every single week.

Through Mercy Cares, we provide weekend meals and snacks to children who may otherwise go without, partnering with local schools and churches to help make sure no child has to wonder where their next meal is coming from. 🙏

Every donation, big or small, helps us continue this mission and reach more families in need.

✨ Would you consider giving today? Your generosity can help put food on a child’s table and remind a family that their community cares.

Donate today at MercyTX.org ❤️

Thank you for helping us love our community through action!

🎒❤️ Today marks the beginning of another year of making a difference! ❤️🎒

Today, Mercy Cares begins distributing backpacks filled with weekend meals and snacks to students and families who may be facing food insecurity.

We are incredibly blessed to currently serve 8 schools within Birdville ISD, while also helping provide food to 2 local churches who are doing the same—coming alongside families in our community and making sure children have food to take home for the weekend.

Each backpack represents more than just food. It represents hope, love, and a reminder that our community cares. ❤️

As we begin this new school year, we ask you to join us in prayer. 🙏

Please pray for the students we serve—that they have a successful school year, supportive teachers, strong friendships, and the opportunity to thrive. Pray for their families as they navigate the challenges of each day, and pray that Mercy Cares continues to be a blessing and a source of encouragement to those in need.

“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done.” — Proverbs 19:17

Thank you to everyone who makes this ministry possible. Together, we are helping fill backpacks, bellies, and hearts. 💙

This Independence Day, we celebrate the blessings of freedom and reflect on the values that have shaped our nation for generations. As we mark 250 years of American independence, we’re reminded that true hope is found in loving our neighbors, serving our communities, and caring for those in need.

At Mercy Cares, we’re grateful for the opportunity to live out Christ’s love by providing weekend food packs to children facing hunger. Every meal shared, every volunteer who serves, and every generous donor who gives is a reminder that compassion can change lives.

As we celebrate with family and friends, we’re thankful for the freedoms we enjoy and inspired to continue being the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. Together, we can build a future where every child is seen, cared for, and given hope.

Wishing you and your family a safe, joyful, and meaningful Fourth of July. May God continue to bless our nation and guide us as we serve others with faith, hope, and love.

Here’s to 250 years of freedom—and to continuing the work of bringing hope to those who need it most. ❤️🤍💙

Big thank you to Lifepoint youth who came this morning to work and learn how the local church can impact food insecurely in our community.
