We are so thankful for partners like Unleashedbrands who donated 100 backpacks today. These packs will help feed numerous children and their families who deal with food insecurity weekly

This Independence Day, we celebrate the blessings of freedom and reflect on the values that have shaped our nation for generations. As we mark 250 years of American independence, we’re reminded that true hope is found in loving our neighbors, serving our communities, and caring for those in need.

At Mercy Cares, we’re grateful for the opportunity to live out Christ’s love by providing weekend food packs to children facing hunger. Every meal shared, every volunteer who serves, and every generous donor who gives is a reminder that compassion can change lives.

As we celebrate with family and friends, we’re thankful for the freedoms we enjoy and inspired to continue being the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. Together, we can build a future where every child is seen, cared for, and given hope.

Wishing you and your family a safe, joyful, and meaningful Fourth of July. May God continue to bless our nation and guide us as we serve others with faith, hope, and love.

That’s a wrap on the 2025-2026 school year!

What an incredible year it has been! Because of your generosity, prayers, and faithful service, we were able to make sure children in our community never had to face the weekend wondering where their next meal would come from.

Every backpack packed was a reminder that no child is invisible — and that when God's people come together, mountains move. 💚

To our volunteers, donors, and every hand that helped fill a backpack this year — THANK YOU. You are the hands and feet of Jesus, and this community is better because of you.
