WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A COMMUNITY SHOWS UP? ❤️‍🔥❤️

Earlier this week, Eric Ramirez and Juice Media TV shared post alleging that a local car wash owner discarded a vendor’s belongings.

We reached out to the car wash but were unable to connect. Their original post about the incident has since been taken down.

We were able to speak with Ms. Hernandez, the granddaughter of Ms. Alicia, the churro vendor involved.

Now, thanks to Hemphill Mutual Aid Ms. Alicia has been offered a FREE booth The Fork Yard themorningsideproject

That’s what community can look like: turning a difficult moment into an opportunity.

If you mess with one local vendor, the whole Southside is gonna hear about it. 👀

Y’all, what happened at the Hemphill Street Car Wash?

Shoutout to Eric Ramirez for bringing attention to it and Juice Media TV for covering the situation and adding more details.

Before anybody jumps to conclusions, let’s hear from the vendor and get the full story. But if this happened the way it’s being reported, what are we as a community supposed to do?

We spend money here. Our vendors many times pull up here. Our lowriders post up here. This is OUR South Side.

So what do y’all think: boycott, speak up, or give the business a chance to respond?

👇🏽 Drop your thoughts and if you know the vendor, tag them or help us connect with them. Let’s make sure they’re heard and get sold out.
