That’s a wrap on IamHER Summer Camp!

Four weeks of learning, laughter, new experiences, confidence-building, and unforgettable HER moments would not have been possible without our incredible team, guest speakers, partners, funders, donors, volunteers, families, and supporters.

A special thank you to Ms. Robin, our Program Director, for leading with excellence, and to our Engagement Leaders for bringing the energy, fun, and safe space our girls deserved each day.

And to our HER girls—thank you for showing up, trying new things, using your voices, and making this summer one to remember. We are so proud of you! 💗

We were honored to attend the Self-Care Forum hosted by the Barbara Jordan Leadership Institute (BJLI) and the Fibroid Institute of Texas. Thank you for bringing our community together to share such important conversations around women’s health, self-care, and education. Events like these create lasting impact through awareness and empowerment.

A special thank you for collecting menstrual hygiene products to support IamHER’s Hygiene Kit Initiative. Your generosity will help ensure girls in our community have access to essential items and the confidence they deserve.

And an extra special shoutout to Kelcy! 🌟 Thank you for taking the initiative to organize and collect donations within your community. Your kindness, leadership, and heart for serving others are truly inspiring. THANK YOU, KELCY! 💗

We closed out LeadHERship Camp with an incredible STEAM Week! 🚀

Our final week was packed with hands-on learning, creativity, and problem-solving as our HER girls explored the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. 🌟

🤖 A huge thank you to the Fort Worth Library for introducing our girls to robotics and coding, inspiring them to think, create, and explore new possibilities.

♟️ Thank you to the Arlington Chess Club for teaching strategy, patience, and critical thinking through the game of chess.

🎮 We wrapped up the week with a trip to Cidercade, where our girls experienced the fun side of STEAM through interactive games, technology, and teamwork.

And of course, we mixed in plenty of IamHER fun, laughter, challenges, and unforgettable memories along the way! 💗

What an amazing way to finish a summer of learning, growing, and leading.

WEEK 3: CAREERS WEEK = UNLOCKED!

What an unforgettable week! Our HER girls had the opportunity to hear from incredible professionals who showed them that success comes in many forms—and every dream is worth chasing. 🌟

A heartfelt thank you to:
⚖️ Mrs. Khanay Attorney at Law for sharing what it takes to pursue a career in law and encouraging our girls to use their voices with confidence.

🎨 Elevated Tattoo & Piercing for opening our girls’ eyes to the creativity, entrepreneurship, and professionalism behind the industry.

🩵 Thrive & Shine Therapy for reminding our girls that taking care of their mental health is just as important as achieving their goals.

🇺🇸 Sergeant First Class Katie Dowdey, Army veteran, for inspiring our girls with her story of leadership, courage, resilience, and service.

💃 Our Wellness Wednesday was all about Body Positivity through belly dancing, reminding our girls to celebrate their bodies, move with confidence, and embrace who they are.

And of course… it wouldn’t be IamHER without plenty of games, laughter, friendship, and unforgettable HER moments! 💗✨

Week 3 was filled with inspiration, confidence, and possibilities—and we can’t wait to see where these future leaders go next!
