FIRST MEETING IS TOMORROW MORNING - JOIN US!

Near Southside is inviting residents, businesses, property owners, and community members to participate in Trinity Metro’s Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Study by attending an upcoming public meeting, completing the community survey, or both.

As these station areas continue to evolve, community input will help shape recommendations and identify future opportunities for access, safety, amenities, mobility, and development near transit.

The redevelopment of the T&P Station parking lot on Vickery Boulevard and the new TEXRail extension on Mistletoe Boulevard could serve as catalysts for exciting new investment in the Near Southside, including housing, retail, restaurants, and potential anchor tenants such as a grocery store or hotel.

Near Southside encourages everyone to share their ideas and help shape the future of these important transit areas. We hope you’ll participate and invite your neighbors, colleagues, friends, and fellow community members to join the conversation.

This friendly black-and-white pup was found at The Cicada this past Friday night, and we’re still trying to locate their owner. Do you recognize this sweet dog?

The pup is wearing collars, and the owner will be asked to describe them to help confirm ownership. Unfortunately, there is no microchip, so we need your help spreading the word!

If you recognize this dog or know their family, please contact Jennifer at 817-233-8872 to make arrangements. Please share to help get this pup home!
