As we kick off our 97th year, we're proud to spotlight the 2026-2027 Junior League of Fort Worth Board of Directors – a dedicated group of women who lead with vision, purpose and heart. Behind every meeting, initiative and opportunity to serve is a team working tirelessly to strengthen our League and advance our mission.

Their leadership helps empower women, develop civic leaders and create meaningful impact throughout our community. As we begin this new League year, we are grateful for the passion, commitment and courage they bring to the work each and every day.

The Junior League of Fort Worth (JLFW) is proud to welcome a new League Year centered on connection, compassion and purpose.

As JLFW begins our 97th year, we look ahead with excitement for all we will accomplish Together, with Heart — supporting one another, growing as leaders and serving the Fort Worth community with care and intention. This year’s theme reflects the power of women coming together in service to create meaningful, lasting impact. Every act of leadership, every volunteer hour and every moment of collaboration help strengthen our community and uplift those around us.

This weekend, the Junior League of Fort Worth is proudly represented at the Annual Conference of the Association of Junior Leagues International by our President, President-Elect, and President-Elect-Elect as they joined League leaders from across the world to celebrate service, innovation, and community impact.

We are incredibly honored to have received the Division 4 Fund Development Award for Large Leagues in recognition of our outstanding fundraising success this year, including the record-breaking achievements of Christmas in Cowtown and the creation of the 1930 Society. 🎄💎

This award reflects the dedication of our members, volunteers, sponsors, shoppers, donors, and community supporters who continue to believe in the mission of the Junior League of Fort Worth. Together, we are creating meaningful impact across our community while building a strong and sustainable future for generations to come.

From the very beginning of her provisional journey, Morgan stood out through her dedication, enthusiasm, and heart for service. Not only did she fully embrace the League experience, but she also completed more than THREE times the required MINTS hours, demonstrating an extraordinary commitment to meaningful community impact.

Morgan’s passion for volunteering, willingness to step up, and positive spirit made her shine brightly throughout this year’s provisional class. She represents the very best of the Junior League of Fort Worth and the future of our organization is stronger because of leaders like her.

Congratulations to our 2025–2026 Actives of the Year, Lizzy Sutton and Kari Teigen! 👑✨

Through vision, dedication, and countless hours of hard work, Lizzy and Kari successfully planned and implemented the inaugural year of the Junior League of Fort Worth Leadership Academy, creating a powerful new pathway for member growth, training, and leadership development.

Their passion for empowering women and strengthening our League legacy has already made a lasting impact, and this is only the beginning. Because of their leadership, members across the League now have new opportunities to learn, lead, and grow through meaningful and intentional training experiences.

Thank you, Lizzy and Kari, for leading with excellence and embodying this year’s theme of Noble Leadership through Majestic Service. The future of JLFW shines even brighter because of you both.

One final gavel tap. One beautiful new beginning. 💫

Our May General Membership Meeting and Passing of the Gavel marked the close of an extraordinary League year filled with Noble Leadership through Majestic Service. Together, we celebrated the accomplishments, impact, friendships, and heart that carried the Junior League of Fort Worth through another remarkable season of service.👑

The Passing of the Gavel is more than a tradition. It is a symbol of trust, legacy, and the continued strength of women leading women. As Past Presidents passed the gavel to 25-26 President, Shay Gipson, who then passed the gavel to 26-25 President, Alli D'Acosta, we celebrated not only a transition of leadership but the enduring spirit of the League and the bright future ahead.

Thank you to every member, volunteer, partner, and supporter who made this year unforgettable. Here’s to honoring our legacy while boldly stepping into the next chapter. ✨
