Joint Statement from the Board of Governors:

Register. Check your registration. Then make sure everyone you love has done the same.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3. Some registration deadlines have already passed, and others are only days away. Find yours at https://congresschristian.org/register. Wherever early voting is offered, vote early.

Never forget who died for this right. Never believe your voice is insignificant. "For who hath despised the day of small things?" (Zechariah 4:10)

We are not telling you how to vote. We are telling you to vote.

The Congress Review, Fall 2026, is here.

Our cover story, "Holy Ground, Sound Governance," takes up a question every church leader faces: how do we tend the local church as both a sanctuary and a corporation? Also inside: Operation RISE, a word for leaders from Nehemiah, Congress Notes, and the date for our 2027 national convening in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Louisville Institute Postdoctoral Fellowship provides early career theological educators with vocational and professional formation through a two-year placement as a visiting scholar at a graduate theological school, college, university, or education and research organization in the United States or Canada. As part of the Louisville Institute’s Vocation of the Theological Educator (VTE) Initiative, Postdoctoral Fellows engage in intentional, focused, professional formation and teaching as they explore a calling to be a theological educator for future pastoral leaders.

This appointment is not a coincidence; it is a confirmation. Those of us who serve alongside Supt. Pierce have witnessed firsthand the wisdom, integrity, and steady counsel he brings to every table he sits at. What Bishop Willie C. Green and the Florida Northwest Jurisdiction have recognized, we have been blessed by for some time now.

“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” — 1 Corinthians 4:2 (KJV)

To Bishop Willie C. Green, Jurisdictional Prelate, and Dr. T Lynn Smith, Jurisdictional Supervisor of Women, thank you for entrusting this assignment to a leader who will carry it well.

Superintendent Pierce, the Congress stands with you. May God grant you grace for the assignment, favor with the pastors and people of Grace Covenant, and strength for every season ahead. To God be the glory!
