What a gorgeous day at Rum Island to get to present a $1,000 donation to Our Santa Fe River as the August Charity of the Month!

Thanks to Newberry Branch Manager Kristin for being on hand to present the award! We got to learn a lot more about the importance and impact of what this great organization does for the Santa Fe River.

The trailer with 220 cubic feet of highly compressed Water Hyacinth has been unloaded and the plants are safely composting far from the river. Thanks to Greg and Jadah Hodge for use of the trailer, Jordan Fennel and OSFR board member Kurt Hurzeler for helping unload the trailer. It takes a village.
