Why WE BELONG TO ONE FAMILY?

We live in a world of strained and broken relationships in every dimension of the human family. Many of us feel the stresses of homes in which some parts of our souls do not feel Trustworthy Love, where parts of us feel disconnected, where we do not feel like we have a real place we belong and can call home. And all of us feel the lack of harmony in the larger local to global human family. There is the ongoing tribalism of mutual suspicion defined by spirituality, religion, ethnicity, political philosophy, economic class, and a host of other forms of difference that erodes into distrust.

We live in a fractured and fracturing world. ,

But in the midst of this, there is a counter-narrative forming, a movement of listening and trust-building, a movement of humility and open-heartedness. Together these characteristics of a counter-movement create breakthroughs of relational harmony and reconciled diversity informed by an emerging transcending wisdom.

WE BELONG TO ONE FAMILY believes that as we learn how to BE LOVE we will discover the enrichment that comes and uplifts us all. Together we can be awakened, inspired, delighted, and enlightened by the magic of giving to and receiving from one another through inter-generational, inter-spiritual, intercultural, inter-philosophical sharing.

WE BELONG TO ONE FAMILY envisions a movement in which all of us can co-create, promote and nurture the spiritual awareness and experience of Trustworthy Love between ALL beings. We can EXPERIENCE and CELEBRATE the unity and harmony between all beings by honoring the unique way that Trustworthy Love is expressed and embodied in each being.

WE BELONG TO ONE FAMILY envisions a movement in which all of us can experience peace and harmony within our human family by creating and deepening connections of Trustworthy Love in our homes, neighborhoods, and across the many diversities of social interaction, from local and global, from ecological to inter-dimensional.

WE BELONG TO ONE FAMILY envisions a movement of ecological harmony within humanity and between humanity and all other sentient beings that lives the universal prayer, " May ALL BEINGS be well and be happy. May ALL BEINGS return to LOVE."

SO HOW WILL THIS UNFOLD?
With all of us participating!

No matter where you live! This movement can take root in your home community! So if this vision inspires you in any way, join WE BELONG TO ONE FAMILY.

There will be a number of opportunities for gathering and social media interaction forming in the coming days. The following two major hubs of activity will begin in the next week, so like this page and follow it and become involved.

PURE STREAMS FLOWING TOGETHER will create opportunities for trust-building and celebrative relationships between spiritually and philosophically diverse groups and discovering where Trustworthy Love is flowing within and between those groups.

OUR SACRED STORY will promote the discovery of a universal common sacred story that can be found by listening to our deep souls - a Love Story that is so emotionally and intellectually compelling that it is able 1) to contain all of our stories, 2) to re-paradigm those stories, and 3) to provide healing, reconciliation between us, and 4) to restore a wholeness in our sense of self.

We Belong to One Family!

I have to share the Truth of Trustworthy Love that burns in my heart in the face of the recent incitement of tribalism in relation to the city of Jerusalem - the city whose name means "the foundation of wholeness and the fullness of peace."
I doubt President Trump has much of a personal conviction on the spiritual ideology that has long been promoted regarding the transfer of the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem and affirmation of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. But Trump does know his base and this will surely keep many of them happy. Tribalists are true believers in what their tribe believes, but that does not lead to belief in what is ultimately true. This decision fires up the long ongoing conflict between tribalist fundamentalisms found in most all religious and political stripes that are ethnic-centered.
I am a fundamentalist of a different kind - one that calls all to Love and Humility and to affirm that We Belong to One Family! I see the manifold ways that hatred and self-righteousness can grow on many sides of any issue as people enter into conflict about "what is true." Only Love is ultimately true, though! This tribalism has been growing in our country because far too many people on the so called right and the so called left and of different religious ideologies do not listen to one another and do not seek peace. They see their tribe as more important than the reality that all of our souls were originally procreated in the image of the Divine Love. It is not about an ethnically oriented religion. It is about a spiritual awareness of a reconciled and celebrative diversity that says that we are ultimately One Family.
This decision to move the embassy and affirm Jerusalem as the capital of a "Jewish state" was born early in Trump's campaign as he courted the evangelical right. He was urged forward since early 2016 by Vice President Pence and a major segment of the evangelical Christian community who believe their Zionist ideology that an allegedly sovereign personality called "Yahweh" in the Hebrew and Christian scriptures has given the Jews the promised land in perpetuity. The promise of the land was alleged to be only to the lineage of the children of Abraham, through Isaac and Jacob. They see this decision as part of the scenario of fulfilled prophecy that will last beyond an expected Armageddon. Christians of this stream give more allegiance to this ideology, which they presume to be inspired infallibly by that sovereign entity than to the teachings of Jesus and several of the Hebrew prophets, such as Amos and Isaiah, who call us to the practices of love, justice, and peace-making.
The idea of turning swords into plowshares and spears into pruning-hooks seems so idealistic in this egoistic and tribal world. But this vision of a City of Peace comes from heaven to us who are seeking to be centered and full of the Spirit of Infinite Love. We are called into the communion of co-creating Divine Heavenly Reality on this earth. In that Spirit Jesus proclaimed "the Reign of Heaven is at hand!"
I bless that stream of Christians who are sharing the Good News by following and Embodying the teachings of Jesus and many others who were inspired by the Holy Whole Spirit of Radical Trustworthy and Hospitable Lovel This stream calls all of our sisters and brothers who are serving the smaller and lesser tribal gods to come back to our common spiritual humanity through practices of forgiveness and humility and love for one another.
I also honor the Sufis who together with the Radical Love Christians mystically sense the depth of Personal Love flowing from the center to every nook and cranny, every soul and quanta in this universe. Then there are the many who are of that non-tribal stream of Islam that calls the tribal Islamists to repent and align with the Mercy and Compassion of the Divine within and around us.
I honor Jewish sisters and brothers who know that their true calling is not about a single piece of land in the Middle East but a calling to bless all nations. This is the positive side of the diaspora. These are the Jews who honor the many prophets of other nations along with their own and they honor Jesus as one of their precious prophets who call all of us to our divine identity.
Let us call ALL to become One Trustworthy Love Family of many tribes and nations! It is time to repent from divisive tribalism! The gods of Tribalism are false gods no matter what brand of religion is proclaimed. They that take up the sword in the name of their so called tribal god will perish by the sword. Meanwhile we who, with humility, seek and find the reality of Trustworthy Love within us will find our Oneness in the Infinite Love Family. Lets come together to affirm that Oneness! Pure Streams Flowing Together.
