URGENT UPDATE: The January & February Luncheons out at Orchard Ridge Country Club have been CANCELLED. Due to low reservation numbers, uncertainty over the weather and road conditions, it has been decided to let January & February pass without asking our membership to gather. OUR NEXT LUNCHEON will be scheduled for MARCH 22, 2022. Stay safe ladies!

RELAUNCH LUNCHEON set for TUESDAY, July 27, 2021 at ZIANOS on Dupont Road. The restaurant opens at 11:00am and our MEETING will run from 11:30am to 1:00pm.

The Luncheon’s meal will be Zianos scrumptious lasagna luncheon special and our meeting agenda will feature a Representative from Animal Care & Control.

Our Stonecroft Speaker for the Luncheon is still being confirmed but we also plan a lovely time of just playing catch up with one another.

Cost of the Luncheon will be taken at the door into the semi-private meeting room by our usual Reservations ladies and remains just $18.

Orchard Ridge Country Club is not serving dine in meals at this time through the end of the year due to the upswing in Covid cases. They will also be closed for the months of January & February (per their usual protocols). We will be speaking with the country club’s management after the first of the New Year about the possible return to meetings and we’ll keep you updated about our plans as God unfolds them for us.

A PRAYER NEED ALERT: Imogene fell and broke her hip. It took them over a week to figure that out.

She was in Lutheran for a few days and is now in Heritage Pointe of Huntington, 1180 E 500 N, Huntington, 46750, phone 260-355-2750.

Her granddaughter, Gretchen Letting says: No visitors. So cards right now are the best bet.

Imogene is depressed, so letting her know you care and are praying for her would be a blessing!!

After an UNscientific but telling poll of some of our attending ladies, it has been decided we will NOT host a June Luncheon.

Instead we are now focusing on putting together a Luncheon for TUESDAY, JULY 28th at the Orchard Ridge Country Club. We recognize many of our regulars are in the high risk age group so this further delay is not an unreasonable response.

We regret this loss of fellowship time and pray each of you will be eager to once again gather together in His Name in July.

Restaurants ARE beginning to open up in stages! And we’re glad to see that!!

However, with so many of us in the over 60 at risk age group we will NOT be holding the MAY 2020 Mid-Day Connection luncheon. We want you to feel safe, and be safe.

We ARE, however, beginning to plan a JUNE 23rd, 2020 LUNCHEON.

One of the accommodations Orchard Ridge is going to make for us for that luncheon is the table seating arrangements. They have agreed to seat us no more than FOUR or FIVE to a table so at least some “social distancing” will be possible.

Also, because we have so missed being together, the FEATURE that day will be an extended time of FELLOWSHIP with one another at our tables, and with several ladies willing to share a story or two from their quarantine activities with the whole group.

Please mark YOUR calendar for TUESDAY, June 23rd, and come be a part of His glory shining on us that day!

More details will be forthcoming as we make our plans!

Due to the Coronavirus situation, we will NOT hold our MARCH LUNCHEON on March 24th as planned. Please pray for the LORD to show His Hand in ending the panic and family hardships in this time of global testing.
