We’re grateful to the Foellinger Foundation and Fort Wayne Neighborhoods for once again choosing the Northside Neighborhood Association to receive an Engage Grant! Board member, Jack Colliver, wrote the grant application and attended the press conference today with our president, Lori Davis Stombaugh. The grant will be used to help fund the Lakeside Fall Concert (Sept 27th) and for a fun giveaway for our members!

Monday, June 15, 7 PM. We’re eager for you to join us for our summer meeting at Nick’s Wine Bar. The doors open at 6:30 so you’ll have time to sign-in, pay your dues (if you haven’t yet), grab a drink from the bar and visit with your neighbors. The meeting will start promptly at 7 PM.

We have a great lineup of informative speakers for you! We’ve invited some of the newer business owners in East State Village to introduce themselves and their businesses to you and we’ll also have reps from the City of Fort Wayne traffic engineering, redevelopment and Department of Neighborhoods to update us on the coming changes to East State Village! You won’t want to miss it!

We encourage you to grab dinner at The Village Tap before the meeting and be sure to thank them for allowing us to meet in their space!

Thanks to Andy Mast Greenhouses and our awesome board members for once again making the pots in East State Village pretty for the season! And the kind neighbors at Pio Meat Market already jumped in to help water while the planting was happening!

FOR RESIDENTS AND MEMBERS OF THE NORTHSIDE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION

If you have large items or things that you’ve not been able to put out for trash pick up, bring them to fill the dumpster. Coordinate with your neighbors to clean up streets and alleys. Everything is more fun with friends!

The dumpster will be in the Riverside area in the west parking lot of Heartland Church. You can drop off almost anything! We plan for the dumpster to be there until noon, but it will probably fill up early!

YOU’LL BE REQUIRED TO UNLOAD YOUR OWN ITEMS. Please follow the instructions of the volunteers on placing the items in the dumpster. Do NOT leave items outside of the dumpster.
We WILL NOT take any chemicals, hazardous waste, concrete, electronics, oil based paints or tires.
