🎶 Preparatory Choir is starting soon—and we’re excited to introduce a NEW option this season! 🎶

Preparatory Choir helps young singers build confidence, develop foundational music skills, and discover a love of singing through play. It’s a wonderful first choir experience for children who are curious about singing and music, enjoy learning and trying new things, and are ready to participate in a group.

🌟 NEW this season: a Season-Long Program!

Families can now choose the Preparatory Choir experience that works best for their young singer:

🎵 8-Week Sessions — A fun, flexible introduction to choir with age-appropriate activities designed to build confidence and foundational musical skills.

🎵 Season-Long Program | September–April — Ready for a longer choir experience? This NEW option follows a more sequential curriculum, allowing singers to build their skills, confidence, and musical independence over the course of the season. As part of the Season-Long Program, singers will have the exciting opportunity to perform alongside FWCC Performing Ensembles at the Spring Concert in April!

No audition or vocal assessment is required for either option, and financial assistance is available. ❤️🎶

Thank you to everyone who made Friday night's "Star-Spangled Celebration" such a wonderful evening! ❤️🤍💙 We're grateful to our singers, families, volunteers, musicians, and everyone who joined us to celebrate through music.

A special thank you to 1st Source Bank Foundation for your generous support, and to Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation for hosting us at Foellinger Theatre once again. These opportunities for our youth wouldn't be possible without the support of our community. Thank you!

Congratulations to FWCC Board of Director member, John Urbahns! We are grateful to have such skilled, insightful people like John on our Board investing in the FWCC and our greater community.

We could not be prouder to announce that our own John Urbahns was once again named to the Top-250 Most Influential Leaders in Indiana list.
