"A Return to Haiti"

I just returned from Haiti, and every visit stirs something deep inside me. The beauty of the people’s resilience is undeniable, but so is the weight of what they endure. In every corner, I witnessed a need—a child dreaming to move forward, a family fighting just to hold on. But even in the struggle, there is a spark—an unbreakable hope. I came back more determined than ever, because I believe in Haiti’s potential, in its people, and in a future where they thrive.

As many of you know, Christmas in Haiti has not been celebrated the way it should be. Yet, despite the challenges, The Vine Haiti team was able to bring joy to over 200 children by organizing a Christmas celebration with very limited resources.

With only a few small gifts, they shared what they had — they fed the children, loved them, and reminded them that they are not forgotten. The smiles on their faces were a powerful reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can bring great hope.

Our prayer is that next year we will be able to do even more— to provide more gifts, more support, and more moments of joy for these children who deserve so much more.

Together, we can help make that hope a reality.

The Road No One Chooses

Some people around the world take a perilous journey through jungles, mud, and raging rivers, crossing Panama, Colombia, the Darién Gap, and Panama, all with one fragile hope: to reach the United States.

They walk for days, sometimes weeks.
They carry children on their backs.
They sleep hungry, soaked, and afraid.
Some are injured. Some disappear. Some die on the road before ever seeing the country they believed could offer safety and a future.

Children face unimaginable dangers along the way — illness, exhaustion, violence, and sometimes death. This journey is not made for adventure or comfort. It is made because remaining home often feels impossible.

That is why The Vine Haiti’s vision is sustainability.
A future where people no longer have to risk their lives just to survive.
A future where basic needs — food, clean water, healthcare, job creation, then education, and dignity — are available at home.

This is The Vine Haiti’s land — land people are waiting to see built, a place where families can find real help, real opportunity, and real hope without walking through jungles to reach it.

When we join hands together, great things can be done — and lives can be saved before they ever reach the roa

Haiti( Ayiti) is a nation with a heartbeat that refuses to stop. Even when the days feel heavy and the nights seem long, the strength of the Haitian people keeps pushing the darkness away. There is a quiet bravery in every mother who keeps believing, in every child who keeps dreaming, in every man who keeps fighting for a life of dignity.
Haiti’s beauty is deeper than its mountains and brighter than its shores — it lives in the courage of its people. A people who have learned to stand tall after every fall, who carry hope like a flame that the wind cannot blow out.
No matter what Haiti faces, its story is not over. God has not forgotten Haiti. Restoration is still possible. Healing is still coming. Light will rise again.

In Haiti, many children dream of going to school, but for countless families, even basic education is a luxury they simply cannot afford. Boys and girls who long to learn, to grow, and to build a better future are often held back—not because they lack talent or desire, but because the resources just aren’t there.
The same struggle touches young athletes. Many children who love soccer can’t even afford the simplest equipment to train, not even a proper soccer ball. Yet their passion remains strong. Their hearts are full of hope, even when their hands are empty.
These children are fighting every day for opportunities many of us take for granted. And their courage reminds us how powerful it can be when someone chooses to help, support, or simply care.

Praying for Jamaica, Haiti & the Caribbean

If you havent heard yet, Hurrican Melissa is predicted to be a history making category 5 hurricane. The National Hurricane Center warns of catastrophic flooding and landslides in Jamaica and southern Hispaniola (Haiti and the Dominican Republic), with rainfall totals potentially reaching 30 inches in some areas.

Everyone connected to The Vine Haiti is safe in Northern Haiti but we are keeping an eye on Melissa and preparing for the worst.

Please join us in praying for the people of the Caribbean as they face this dangerous storm, asking for protection, safety, and peace.

Haiti is Suffocating !! A call for prayer!

The nation of Haiti is in a state of multi-dimensional crisis, a stranglehold so severe that the word “crisis” no longer suffices. It is suffocating. This is not merely a call for aid or awareness, though both are desperately needed; it is foremost a call to the most powerful weapon at our disposal: fervent, targeted, and persistent prayer.

With ports blocked and economy shattered, famine-like conditions are spreading. Inflation renders basic goods unattainable. The physical breath of children is threatened by malnutrition and preventable disease.

The most devastating thing is the suffocation of the human spirit. A people renowned for their resilience are reaching a breaking point, witnessing the dissolution of the country and their future. Despair is becoming the default state.

We cannot stand by while Haiti is gasping for air. We are called to engage in spiritual respiration on its behalf. We are asking you to become a part of a global prayer chain—a unified, spiritual respirator for Haiti.

We’ll be having live prayer for Haiti next week on Monday around 12:00, Join us in the spiritual fight for Haiti.

In the meantime, you can Pray for protection over the most vulnerable: the children, the elderly, the sick, and the displaced.
Pray against the spirit of despair. Pray for a supernatural outpouring of comfort and perseverance over the people in Haiti.
Pray for a miraculous turning point in the country, and also pray for the injustice to be ceased.
