Mary Penrose Wayne Chapter, NSDAR The Mary Penrose Wayne Chapter, NSDAR, was organized in 1901 and named in honor of Mary (Polly) Penrose, wife of General "Mad" Anthony Wayne.

General Wayne is considered the 'Founder of Fort Wayne' because of his military exploits in the area. The content contained herein does not necessarily represent the position of the NSDAR.
