A Workplace Exposure Research Program will be held on Saturday, August 8th at the Fort Wayne Union Hall.

Building trades and sign fabrication and installation members with at least 10 years of service with SMART are eligible to receive a chest X-ray every five years as an assessment measure for asbestos- and silica-related diseases due to possible exposure in the workplace. After the X-ray, you will receive a summary of your results that you can share with your primary care physician and you will receive a $25 gift card for participating.

To register, scan the QR code and fill out the registration form. If you prefer to speak to a representative, please call Diane Blackburn at 412-671-6532 and she will help with the registration process.

SMOHIT will be doing the next round of screenings on Saturday, August 8th at the Fort Wayne Union Hall.

Eligible members must have a minimum of 10 years in the trade to be able to participate.

To register, scan the QR code and fill out the registration form. If you prefer to speak to a representative, call Diane Blackburn at 412-671-6532 and she will help with the registration process.

Tonight is our union meeting. It will be a Special Called meeting to discuss 401a. If you have questions regarding the 401a, this will be a very informative meeting to attend.

Union meeting starts at 6pm, cookout eith hot dogs and hamburgers will start around 5pm.

We had our DAD's Day Golf Outing on Saturday. When we were picking up our tee signs, we found a Bluetooth speaker on the ground. If anyone lost a speaker, give me a call at 260-478-1614.
