Women on a Mission

Formed in 2005, Women United is a powerful collaboration of women committed to significantly improving the quality of life for the children in Allen County by ensuring their readiness for kindergarten. Dedicated to making a difference through focused philanthropic giving, advocacy, and volunteerism, Women United is an affinity group of United Way of Allen County.

Women United proceeds fund early childhood programs such as United Way’s Kindergarten Countdown, the State of Indiana’s On My Way Pre-K program and provides grant monies to early childhood centers to advance the cause of high-quality care.

MEMBERSHIP | Women United’s Membership is a minimum pledge of $50. Membership is not required to participate in Women United events however members will receive priority invitations. While membership is a driving force in advancing the cause of child readiness for kindergarten, all are welcome to participate in events and activities.
