This Memorial Day, SEED Fort Wayne honors and remembers the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.

Their courage, dedication, and selflessness have protected the freedoms we enjoy every day. As we gather with family and friends this holiday weekend, we pause to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and pay tribute to those who gave everything for our nation.

We are forever grateful for their service and sacrifice.

Today, SEED Fort Wayne was proud to serve as a mentor site for the Women’s Fund of Greater Fort Wayne’s Take a Girl to Work Day!

We had the opportunity to welcome a group of 6th grade students from Kekionga Middle School for a morning focused on mentorship, leadership, career exploration, and empowerment. The students connected with women leaders, participated in engaging conversations and activities, and gained firsthand insight into the many possibilities available to them in business and community leadership.

The day concluded with a huge luncheon at the Grand Wayne Convention Center, where students and mentor organizations from across the community gathered to celebrate the future of young women leaders.

We are grateful to the Women’s Fund of Greater Fort Wayne for creating intentional opportunities that inspire girls to dream bigger, lead boldly, and explore new possibilities for their futures.

The Women’s Fund created this initiative to connect young girls with women in leadership roles and help broaden career possibilities for the next generation.
