The Cadet Collective

The Cadet Collective We're a team of CLHS alumni working toward a more diverse and equitable future for Concordia Lutheran High School in Fort Wayne, IN Thank you!

It all began when we noticed a number of alumni speaking about problems within Concordia through social media. We decided to start a Facebook group for Concordia alumni to speak on social issues and connect over past experiences. After receiving a huge outpouring of testimonies regarding racial bias and discrimination, we began to research how these issues could be addressed. We love our alma mate

r and care deeply for the current and future students of Concordia; that is why our hope is that Concordia will become a more diverse and equitable place. The Cadet Collective is working toward this future in two main ways:

1. Starting, and sustaining, a conversation with Concordia’s board and administration

2. Raising awareness of the experiences of diverse students. Our ultimate aim is to empower Concordia to choose to do better for ALL God’s children. We are so grateful to everyone who has contributed their time and talents in researching, writing, spreading word of our work, connecting us with allies, and in countless other ways!
