Located in the Pearl Street Arts Center, Pearl Arts is a non-profit providing everyone in our community creative and educational opportunities that will teach meaningful skills and practices for personal, professional and cultural growth. Pearl Arts will house a 16-room Music Academy, 400-seat flexible performance auditorium, 2 fully accessible education classrooms, as well as public and performer amenities.

Pearl Arts is proud to receive a $4 million grant through the READI 2.0 Arts & Culture Initiative.

This funding will support the Pearl Arts Creative Talent Academy Program by providing high-quality creative learning and workforce development for youth and adults across Northeast Indiana, in partnership with the Innovation Institute and the historic downtown theatre.

The grant will help fund two capital improvement projects, including the renovation and expansion of the theatre into a fully equipped training venue for stage production, music technology, and live event operations. The second project includes the renovation of Pearl Arts’ training facilities by expanding classrooms, rehearsal spaces, instructional labs, and adding a recording studio.

We are so grateful that the State of Indiana chose to invest in Pearl Arts and we are excited to advance regional creative transformation by investing in youth and adult education in Northeast Indiana!

🎺 What a week! 🎺

The 2026 Seraph Brass Summer Seminar officially wrapped on Saturday, bringing together talented students from across North America for an unforgettable week of music, learning, collaboration, and community.

The week long intensive chamber music experience was designed for musicians seeking artistic growth, collaboration, and inspiration. Participants received daily chamber music coaching with members of Seraph Brass, took part in masterclasses, and performed in a side-by-side concert with faculty.

From challenging rehearsals to new friendships and plenty of music-making, these students brought incredible energy and passion to every moment. We’re so proud of everything they accomplished and can’t wait to see where their music takes them next!

Thank you to all of the students, families and Seraph Brass for making the past week so special. 🎶✨
