Today, we visited Moores Creek National Battlefield, the site of what would become the first battle of the Revolutionary War. The battle took place 4 months before the Declaration of Independence was signed and led to North Carolina becoming the first Colony to declare they were independent and instruct their Delegates to vote to approve the Declaration of Independence.

So interesting to stand on a site where History occurred like this.

Standing on Historic Black River Road at Moores Creek National Battlefield. This is the road the Scottish, including possibly some of my ancestors, marched down to fight in what would become the first battle of the Revolutionary War. And the final time the Scottish fought with broadswords. As the Park Ranger told us today, they literally brought knives to a gun battle. Whew! No wonder they were wiped out.

So interesting to stand on a site where History occurred like this.

Our Biggest Adventure yet is about to commence.

A Voice Crying In The Desert Outreach Missions Ministries, James Carter, Melissa Carter, and Shadow The Ghost Shadow the Traveling DOG, are going to be leaving this week on our longest Missions Trip yet.

For the next two weeks we will be in Hocking Hills, OH, Charleston, WV, Beckley, WV, and North Carolina. If you are near one of the areas we are going to, please reach out and let us know. We would love to meet you in person.

In addition to fishing and sight seeing, we will be doing Outreach and lifting up those who need Hope and Peace in their lives at each stop. Would love to meet some of you there.

Please be in prayer for us as we travel, but even more so for those God will lead us to during this trip. We have never attempted this involved or lengthy but know this is part of the next step for our Outreach Ministry.

We are taking this Trip on Faith both that God has a plan for who we are to encounter and impact but also that He will provide financially for the significant costs we will be incurring. If God is laying it on your heart to be a part of this Missions Work and to support us financially, please reach out for more information. A Voice Crying In The Desert will be at LaFontaine Park in Paulding, OH this evening, Thursday July 2. We will be arriving around 6:30 and going Live from our Page around 7:30 pm EST.

Come join us for a Special Day and Time for Conversations With The Evangelist. Tonight, we are talking about "HONOR!". What did God mean by saying we are to Honor our Father and Mother? Does that even still apply to us today since it was part of the Law of Moses and we are no longer bound by the Law? When Jesus said Mary and her sons were not His Family wasn't He breaking the Law and committing a sin?

Getting Ready For The Ladies
