JBM Testimonial:
When I started JBM I really struggled to get time to myself. I was a stay at home mom and found myself getting overwhelmed from therapies, mom duties, caring for myself, college, etc. I needed to accept time away from my son so that I could come back to be the mom he deserves. JBM met with me as soon as they could. Julie got to know me and match me with a mentor she thought would be great not only me but my son. We were also offered events and mommy and me play groups. These were amazing things to help us get out of the house and socialize. This allowed me to meet with other moms that understand the stress that comes with being a mom. My son was able to meet kids of all ages.
Edith then came into our crazy lives. I finally was able to know my son would be cared for without having to leave the safety of his home. I was able to care for myself so I couldnât better care for my son. I found myself being able to breathe. Starting with Edith, it was hard for me to take this time, but she helped me realize how healthy it is to step away for a little time so I can be refreshed to parent. When Iâve been at a loss for my parenting, Edith can offer advice and insight that help me keep up my parenting style. My son now looks forward to Edithâs visits, as do I, and she has become family to us. My son even tries to leave with her out the door.
JBM offered so much support and prayers when I had my daughter. When we found out she needed brain surgery, I had a whole support system spiritually and emotionally. This allowed me to never feel alone or get myself in a dark spot. JBM allows me to be a happier and better mother. They make it possible to do school work, socialize, and care for my home and myself while I know my kids are safe and having fun. I am glad to be a part of this supportive loving community.
Thank you JBM,
Alexis
