Last year, Farmer Joe joined the Philadelphia ALS United Walk as part of Kelly's Heroes. This year, surrounded by the love and support of family and friends, he created his own team: Farmer Joe's Incredible Friends.

Together, they've already raised nearly $4,000, a powerful reminder of what a community can accomplish when it comes together for a cause that matters.

On October 25, Farmer Joe's Incredible Friends will once again walk alongside families, friends, and neighbors at Citizens Bank Park, united to end ALS.

Thank you, Congress, for getting ACT for ALS this far.

Both the House and Senate have passed legislation to reauthorize ACT for ALS, an important bipartisan milestone for the ALS community.

But we’re not done yet. Congress still needs to resolve the remaining differences and send final legislation to the President before the current authorization expires on September 30.

Today, we’re celebrating a very special milestone! ALS United Mid-Atlantic’s story began on August 17, 1977, thanks to the vision and dedication of Felice Wiener. To mark this anniversary, we were honored to welcome Felice’s daughter, Allison, who joined us for a back-to-basics presentation of ALS 101.

We’re grateful for the legacy Felice began nearly five decades ago and for everyone who continues to help us support families living with ALS.
