Our annual placemaking event is designed to draw the community to identify with local business in a “Main Street” concept and socially connect with neighbors. The next open house for updates on MD 210 interchange updates will be Wednesday, June 10 from 5-7. The link below has more details. We went to Annapolis to push hard for this project to be fully funded and completed.

🚀 Halfway there! We just delivered bench #3 of 6 to Colin Powell K-8 Academy — and it looks incredible. Last year, we joined forces with incredible community partners like Sustainable Future Initiative and Andrews Federal Credit Union to build and paint benches that will live in SIX locations across our neighborhood. Watch this space as we finish strong. 3️⃣✅ 3️⃣⬜

📣 Big News for Fort Washington! 📣

Last night’s Town Hall was a powerful reminder that residents lead the way. Working with Prince George's County Planning Department We had good feedback on our Sustainable Communities Action Plan and officially unveiled the draft logo from our branding and wayfinding study! 🎨✨

These initiatives aren't just about a new look—they are the key to unlocking state funding for:

🚀 Community development projects that revitalize our neighborhoods.

🏙️ Elevating our identity to make Fort Washington a premier destination to live, work, and play.

🌳 Sustainable growth that protects our local environment and assets.

We are moving full steam ahead to finalize our Sustainable Communities application for submission to the County Council. This is resident-driven development in action, and we need YOU to keep the momentum going.
