Juneteenth Community Impact
Dress for Success Emerald Coast Florida proudly joined forces with the Pensacola (FL) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated during the Juneteenth celebration to promote civic engagement and economic empowerment in our community.
Through this collaborative outreach effort, volunteers provided voter registration awareness information, scheduled styling appointments for women seeking employment and career advancement services, and distributed skincare samples as an incentive for participation. The event created meaningful opportunities to connect with community members while highlighting the importance of exercising the right to vote.
Together, our organizations celebrated freedom, service, and empowerment by helping individuals take steps toward both civic participation and personal success. We are pleased to report that nearly 30 attendees either completed voter registrations or verified they registered previously.
A special thanks to the organizers, all volunteers, community partners, and participants who helped make this Juneteenth celebration a success. By working together, we continue to strengthen our community and create pathways to opportunity for all.
