For those who have been following V48 I haven’t posted in awhile because I have been attending Harley Mechanic school. I am certified now and will be building our own bikes. We have also merged with “That Others May Rise” foundation for all the management functions of V48 so I can focus on wrench therapy and wind therapy with our veterans. More to follow.

I am pretty sure I told y’all I am using my GI bill in Motorcycle mechanics Institute (MMI) in Orlando to be a Harley mechanic. So here I am.

Something has been bugging me since the Pararescue reunion. An old classmate expressed how a thoughtless statement I had made many years ago bothered him. And when he told me I just instinctively responded by carelessly joking and passing it off. Back then we were always trying to be better than the other guy and sometimes that included cutting them down. The truth is all of you were better than me, at least in one way or another. You all had characteristics in envied. I just want to apologize to anyone I have hurt or offended in the past. Can’t say it won’t happen again but I am trying to be a better person. Now that I am older and beaten down I am honored to have been a part of such an honorable group. Pappa Lima.
