TEARs2C Community Coalition The PRIDE Navigator Initiative is a community coalition created to provide Protective Resources for Inclusion, Dignity and Equality.

TEARs2C (Teaching Everyone About the Risks Community Coalition) is a holistic community coalition created to provide environmental strategies utilizing evidence based interventions to prevent and reduce substance abuse (SA) and the transmission of HIV/AIDS among FVSU students and young adults (ages 18-24) in the surrounding communities of Houston and Peach Counties. Dedicated to impacting no less

than 3,120 participants, TEARs2C seeks to:
a) Provide SA and HIV prevention classes, group counseling sessions, trainings and seminars for 280 FVSU students each program year
b) Conduct 3 campus and community wide SA & HIV/AIDS prevention events reaching at least 530 students and residents each year
c) Conduct social media approaches to inform campus and surrounding community of classes and events
d) Train 10 FVSU students each year as SA & HIV prevention Peer Educators
e) Conduct evidence based SA & HIV/AIDS prevention programs and services in collaboration with CBOs to educate 80 individuals per each program.
