You Are Not Too Much!

Your volume, your boldness, your presence β€” these are gifts, not burdens. The world was made bigger by your arrival in it.

Too often, we dim our light to make others comfortable. We silence our voices, soften our dreams, and shrink ourselves to fit into spaces that were never meant to contain the fullness of who God created us to be. But God did not make a mistake when He made you. Your passion, your strength, your personality, and your purpose are all part of His divine design.

"For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago." β€” Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)

Today, give yourself permission to take up space, speak with confidence, and walk boldly in your calling. The gifts God placed within you were never intended to be hidden.

Reflection: Where have I been shrinking myself β€” and what would I do differently if I stopped?

πŸ’• You are not too much.
πŸ’• You are enough.
πŸ’• You are chosen.
πŸ’• You are wonderfully made.

World MS Day | May 30, 2026

Today, the Southeastern Region joins the global community in recognizing World MS Day and raising awareness about Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a disease that affects millions of individuals and families worldwide.

MS is often an invisible journey, but the strength, resilience, and determination of those living with MS shine brightly every day. Today, we honor their courage, celebrate their victories, and reaffirm our commitment to building understanding, compassion, and support.

Like the butterfly, individuals living with MS demonstrate remarkable perseverance, hope, and transformation in the face of challenges. Together, we can help create a world where every person affected by MS feels seen, supported, and empowered.

🧑 Raising Awareness.
🧑 Inspiring Hope.
🧑 Building Connections.

The Southeastern Region stands with all those impacted by MS today and every day.

This Memorial Day, we remember the fallen and honor those whose courage, service, and sacrifice helped shape the meaning of this day.

The Harlem Hellfighters, one of the most decorated Black combat units of World War I, were not approved to receive the Congressional Gold Medal until 2021 β€” more than 100 years after the war ended.

Their story reminds us that Black communities have long modeled patriotism, discipline, and determination, even when full recognition was delayed.

As Jack and Jill families, we carry this history forward by teaching our children the fullness of the legacy they inherit.
