Bro. Teray Davis , Chapter President of the Alpha Pi Chapter of Phi Beta Fraternity, Inc., had the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. to attend the Congressional Black Caucus.
During his time in Washington, D.C., Bro. Davis connected with leaders, professionals, and changemakers from across the country while engaging in meaningful conversations surrounding leadership, service, professional development, and issues impacting our communities.
Bro. David also had the opportunity to visit Howard University, where he was able to see the historic plot where it all began for Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Being able to stand where the foundation of our Brotherhood was built was a meaningful moment to reflect on the legacy, brotherhood, and vision that has continued since 1914.
One of the biggest highlights of the experience was getting to connect with the 2nd Vice Regional Directors trom across each region, alongside the International Second Vice President. Being surrounded by fellow collegiate leaders of Phi Beta Sigma provided an opportunity to exchange ideas, build stronger relationships across regions, and gain a deeper understanding of what leadership looks like today and what it can become for the future of our Brotherhood.
Bro. Davis was proud to represent both The Alpha Pi Chapter and the Southern Region throughout this experience while continuing to learn, build connections, and carry forward the legacy of Sigma.
