Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge Cincinnati Chapter Founding Forward, a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity, is the result of a merger between The Union League Legacy Foundation and Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge.

Together they will become the leading voice and institution in civic education.

175 people gathered for the 13th annual Veterans Recognition and Remembrance Service sponsored by the Cincinnati Chapter of Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge. The evening featured the color guard from Edgewood High School and the select choir from Little Miami High School. The keynote speaker was Cheryl Popp, director of the Tri-State Honor Flight. Eight Quilts of Valor were presented to eight veterans. The Deacon Board of Sycamore Presbyterian Church, the host of the service, provided a meal for veterans and their families before the service.

YOUNG PATRIOTS CONFERENCE
27 students gathered for Freedoms Foundation’s Young Patriots Conference on October 19 at the TriState Warbird Museum. The students learned about the Constitution and what it means to be an engaged citizen. Guest speakers were Justice Sharon Kennedy, Chief Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court; Judge Patrick Dinkelacker, Common Pleas Court of Hamilton County; Patrick Allen from the Veterans History Project. The students also were able to tour the Tri-State Warbird Museum and learn about military life during WWII.
