3rd Infantry Division Last week, the Marne Chapter Sergeant Audie Murphy Club executed the quarter 2 Sergeant Audie Murphy Award Board with four candidates competing locally and four candidates competing virtually. All candidates had to complete a Brigade level board, qualify expert with their assigned weapon, a performance test with various events, an Army Combat Fitness Test where the candidate had to achieve 90 points or more in each event, a written exam and essay and a formal board. Congratulations to the candidates who were chosen to be inducted into the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club.

Today, the 3rd Battalion 15th Infantry Regiment went on an NCOPD trip to France. During the trip, they had the privilege to visit the Audie Murphy memorial site. It was such a humbling experience to stand on the exact ground that Audie Murphy fought on and received his MOH 79 years ago to the day (9 FEB 1945). In this photo from left to right there are the three SAMC members that we currently have in the Battalion-1SG Palacios (I Co 1SG) SSG Chartier (C Co Master Gunner) and SGM Gadson (3-15IN OPS SGM).
