🐊🎃📚 LET THE GREAT GATOR PUMPKIN CONTEST BEGIN! 📚🎃🐊

Hey, Diamond Gators! Get ready to show off your creativity and celebrate the magic of reading! We’re inviting our students to transform a pumpkin into a favorite book, story, character, author, or literacy-themed creation. Let your imagination run wild!

This is one of our favorite activities of the year. This is a ln activity for the whole family to get involved in and we can't wait to see what our students come up with. The drop off days coincide with teacher conference days with the idea being it will be easier to bring the pumpkins in with you for your conferences. Please just drop them off in the library when you arrive for your conferences.

Also, a reminder, please have the pumpkins labeled on the back or bottom with the child's name, grade level and teacher. Please do not carve the pumpkins as they tend to rot quickly and will have to be thrown out. Also, please do not bring the book with the pumpkin as we can not ensure it won't be lost or misplaced.

Be creative. Be original. Most of all… HAVE FUN!

🐊Thank you Gator Families!🐊

The class that collects the MOST CANDY wins a DONUT PARTY!

Want to donate non-candy treats instead? Small toys, stickers, glow sticks, and other goodies are welcome and will count toward your class total too!
