At Hope Campus, we do more than manage homelessnessβ€”we rebuild lives.
In Q1 2026, we averaged 3,719 safe overnight stays a month. That is 3,719 times a head safely hit a pillow instead of the streets. We also served 11,000 hot meals monthly to provide a foundation of dignity. πŸ›οΈπŸ²
The Pathway to Stability βš™οΈ Once basic needs are met, our phased system (Emergency Shelter ➑️ Worker Beds ➑️ Program Dorms) actively rewards progress. Because of this structured approach, our Q1 outcomes speak for themselves: πŸ’Ό 16 individuals successfully secured employment! πŸ”‘ 19 individuals transitioned into their own permanent apartments! πŸ›‘οΈ 21 rental interventions were deployed to pay deposits or stop evictions, thanks to a combination of grants and incredibly flexible funding from First Presbyterian Church.
🚨 Urgent Community Needs 🚨
🚌 TRANSPORTATION: We recently lost the 100 free bus tickets we rely on. First Presbyterian generously stepped up with $400 to fill the immediate gap, but our Hope Campus Passenger Van is still NOT running due to a lack of funds. We desperately need donations to get it back on the road for job interviews and medical appointments.
πŸ›‹οΈ FURNITURE: We are at a critical state for furniture! We help furnish our transitional living graduates' housing, and we urgently need gently used furniture donations to pass on to these deserving people. πŸ™

🏠 Come see HOPE Campus today!

Our Open House is from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, and we would love for you to stop by. We open our doors every first Tuesday of the month so the community can tour the shelter, meet our team, and see the work happening right here in Fort Smith.

We are always looking for people who want to get involved and volunteer. To learn more, reach out to Kimberly House, our Community Development and Volunteer Coordinator, at 479-668-4764 ext. 11 or email her at [email protected].

If you have a little time after work and before the City Directors meeting, come tour the shelter, ask questions, and be part of the hope being built every day.

We promise, once you see it for yourself, you will fall in love with the mission, the people, and the work happening on this campus. πŸ’™

What a meal to start June off with and some said today's meal was the best they've ever had at Hope Campus .The River Valley retired Nurse's group were here for lunch and they all worked to prepare Carolyn's menu today.Oh,by the way she came in on Sunday to make 12 cakes and her mix for the Alfredo sauce too.The menu was Chicken alfredo,a beautiful salad, cheesy bread, and a mandarin orange pineapple cake(12) and it was amazing.Great start to our week and month and a well deserved rest for everyone.

A part of our Monday was the nurses presenting Jeff with a very nice electric bike to get to and from work. These ladies and gentlemen are unbelievably generous in everything they do.Thank you for all that you've done for us as Hope Campus and our resident's.

At Hope Campus, when we report numbers for overnight shelter beds, we aren't just talking about static data points. In the first quarter of 2026, we averaged 3,719 total overnight stays a month. That represents exactly 3,719 times a head safely hit a pillow on a clean bed, under a protective roof, instead of the streets. πŸ›οΈπŸ’€
The Foundation of Dignity 🍲 Before anyone can tackle the hard work of stability, their most basic human needs must be met. That is why we proudly serve an average of 11,000 hot, nutritious meals every single month for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The Case Management Engine βš™οΈ Once that foundation of dignity is established, our Case Management team steps in to systematically break down barriers to permanent self-sufficiency. Using the Self-Sufficiency Matrix (SSM), our case managers build customized, actionable plans to help individuals take measurable steps forward in domains like: 🏑 Housing & Income: Guiding residents from homelessness to safe, stable housing and securing permanent employment. 🩺 Healthcare & Mental Health: Connecting clients to affordable health insurance and mental health support to move from crisis to stable functioning. βš–οΈ Substance Abuse & Legal: Walking alongside residents on their recovery path and resolving outstanding legal tickets or warrants. 🚌 Mobility & Life Skills: Overcoming transportation barriers and teaching the daily living skills needed to maintain true independence.

True Self-Sufficiency Deliverables πŸ“ˆ We don't just manage homelessness; we actively break the cycle. Because of this holistic approach, our Q1 outcomes speak for themselves: πŸ”‘ 19 individuals transitioned out of the campus and into their own stable, permanent apartments! πŸ’Ό 16 individuals successfully secured employment and rejoined the regional workforce! πŸ›‘οΈ 21 rental assistance interventions were deployed, either paying rapid-rehousing move-in costs to fast-track graduates into apartments, or completely stopping eviction filings to prevent vulnerable families from falling onto the streets.

Hope is within reach! πŸ’šβœ¨
