River Valley Fuerte hosted a beautiful and moving vigil tonight to honor the lives lost at the hands of ICE. It was a powerful evening of remembrance, reflection, and solidarity with immigrant families and communities impacted by detention, deportation, and violence.

Thank you to everyone who came together to hold space, share stories, and stand in support of our neighbors. May we continue to lead with compassion, speak out for justice, and work toward a future where every person is treated with dignity and humanity.

🗳️ Your community needs poll workers.

Free and fair elections depend on everyday people who are willing to serve.

Sebastian County is recruiting paid poll workers. If you're a registered voter and interested in supporting the electoral process, training is available and typically lasts 3–4 hours.

Training sessions may be offered weekly when enough participants sign up, so don't assume it's too late to get involved.
As voting season approaches—from early voting through Election Day on November 3—poll workers play a vital role in helping voters cast their ballots and ensuring elections run smoothly.

📞 Contact Mandy Cravey at 479-629-3846 to learn about upcoming training sessions and how to apply.

Strong elections start with informed voters—and dedicated poll workers. 💜
