Mission Statement:
Provide resources to juveniles and their families by developing and implementing diversion and intervention programs/services to reduce disparity in the Arkansas Juvenile Justice System. Purpose:
As a collaborative effort between the Juvenile Justice System and community participants and stakeholders, this council will promote data-driven practices, community-based programming,

and system reform initiatives to reduce disproportionate contact of youth of color as well as ensure equal and fair treatment for every youth in the juvenile justice system, regardless of race and ethnicity. Goal:
To advise government and local communities to ensure effective service delivery and development of policies that improve the juvenile justice system, advocate for delinquency prevention and guide Sebastian County youth in becoming productive community members.
