Fatigue, Abdominal/Pelvic Pain, Bloating, Back Pain, Frequent Urination, Feeling Full Quickly, Weight Loss or Gain, Pain During In*******se

Know Your Risk Factors:
Genetic Predisposition, Age, Family History of Breast Ovarian or Colon Cancer, Undesired Infertility

Know the Facts:
1 in 78 women will develop Ovarian Cancer. A pap smear DOES NOT test for Ovarian Cancer. The earlier the diagnosis, the better the prognosis.

If you have your Fallopian tubes, are done with childbearing, and have an abdominal procedure scheduled (gall bladder, appendix, colon, etc.), please consider discussing with your physician about getting the tubes removed, especially if cancer is in your family (but not necessary). It's all we have right now to try to prevent women from developing ovarian cancer. YOUR AGE DOES NOT MATTER. Knowledge is power, and this is not common knowledge in the general medical community, even though survivors have been aware of this for many years.
