This holiday season, FSLS has adopted a family whose children were not able to be added to an Angel Tree in time. For many families, missing that sign-up window means missing out entirely - and this is a chance for parents to still put gifts under the tree.

We’re coming together to make sure these kids wake up to a Christmas that has that holiday magic.

How You Can Help
• Donate funds toward the children’s gifts via our Cashapp which can be found in the link on our bio
• Purchase items directly from their wish lists and drop them off at 1304 Springhill RD Unit B, Barling, AR 72923-2371
• Volunteer to shop with us and help pick out gifts (DM us to get involved!)

Boy, Age 12
• Clothes: Size 14–16 (NO jeans; pants must have drawstrings)
• Prefers plain shirts (no writing or characters)
• Shoe size: 8.5
• Wants: Diamond art starter set
(Loves patriotic themes, animals, Fortnite, Pokémon, The Owl House, and music)

Boy, Age 6
• Clothes: Size 8 (NO jeans; pants must have drawstrings)
• Prefers plain shirts unless it’s really cute
• Shoe size: 2
• Wants: Anything cars or trucks (typical little boy things)

👧 Girl, Age 4
• Clothes: Size 5–6 (will wear anything; some plain shirts preferred unless really cute)
• Shoe size: Toddler 3
• Wants: Mermaids, unicorns, baby dolls, and princesses

Many families fall through the cracks during the holidays, often times because resources are limited and systems fill up fast. This is one way we can step in, to support a family who just needs a little help right now.

Fort Smith Lambda Society is partnering with March of Dimes to bring a special Halloween treat! On September 20th, starting at 11 AM, we’ll be at the Community Meeting Room at the Main Fort Smith Public Library, crafting felt costumes for NICU babies.

🎨 Each costume is inspired by various board games for NICU families to take home.

🎃 All ages are welcome to join! We’ll provide all the supplies.

We can’t wait to see you there!

‼️IMPORTANT BACK TO SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM FSLS‼️

Our Back to School event was such a success because of the incredible support from this community. Thanks to your donations and generosity, we were able to provide supplies to so many students and families who needed them.

We’ve officially run out of supplies, so we’ll be wrapping up earlier than planned, but that’s a beautiful reminder of just how much love and support showed up today.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making a difference. Together, we’re helping kids start the school year feeling supported, prepared, and cared for.

We’re here to support students and families in the area with FREE school supplies, three stylish outfits, and a pantry + hygiene pack for the whole family! ✏️🛍️🥫 From catching up on essentials to stocking up for the semester, we’ve got you covered.

💙 To make sure we have enough, student’s/children’s presence is required for the event.

🚨 We’re also collecting donations of school supplies, hygiene products, clothing, and food items to share with the community. Check out the list of most-needed items and our Amazon Wishlist (https://a.co/e6d2QyR) if you’d like to contribute!

RAIN OR SHINE, FSLS PRIDE IS ON! ☀️🌧️

FSLS Pride is a rain or shine event, which means the celebration will go on no matter what the weather looks like! 🌈✨ Bring an umbrella, a poncho, or your boldest rainy-day look. Pride doesn’t pause for a little drizzle (or not, you never know!)

However, safety is our priority. In the event of severe weather, we do have a backup plan ready to go. If any changes are needed, we’ll post real-time updates here and across all FSLS social media, so stay tuned.
