CSCDC Child and Adult Care Food Program This is the page for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) offered through Crawford Sebastian Community Development Council (CSCDC).

This program reimburses childcare facilities for providing high quality, nutritious meals. In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, the USDA, its Agencies, offices, and employees, and institutions participating in or administering USDA programs are prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, religion, s*x, disability, age, marital status, family/parental status, income derived from a public assistance program, political beliefs, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity, in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA (not all bases apply to all programs). Remedies and complaint filing deadlines vary by program or incident. Persons with disabilities who require alternative means of communication for program information (e.g., Braille, large print, audiotape, American Sign Language, etc.) should contact the State or local Agency that administers the program or contact USDA through the Telecommunications Relay Service at 711 (voice and TTY). Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English. To file a program discrimination complaint, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, AD-3027, found online at How to File a Program Discrimination Complaint and at any USDA office or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. To request a copy of the complaint form, call (866) 632-9992. The new rates for reimbursement have been released! The following changes have been made.
Family Child Care Homes (Tier 1)
- Breakfast increased 4 cents
- Lunch increased 9 cents
- Snack increased 2 cents
Centers
- Breakfast increased 2 cents (paid) and 8 cents (free & reduced)
- Lunch increased 1 cent (paid) and 16 cents (free & reduced)
- Snack increased 1 cent (paid), 2 cents (reduced), and 4 cents (free)

🥛 New milk options are official in CACFP!

Effective June 8, 2026, whole milk and reduced-fat (2%) milk can now be offered to participants ages 2 and up — in addition to the low-fat (1%) and fat-free options you already use.

A few things to know:
✅ Sites are not required to offer the new options
✅ It's up to sponsors to decide whether and when sites can start, based on federal, state, and sponsor guidance
✅ KidKare is already updated — so your sites can record the new milk categories the moment you're ready

We built the flexibility in ahead of time so you don't have to wait. 💙
