What an incredible evening!

Our Partners in Protection Inaugural Charity Banquet was a tremendous success, and we are so grateful to everyone who made it possible, from our guests and sponsors to our partners, staff, and board members. And the food and the band! Amazing!!

A special thank you to Attorney General Tim Griffin for his leadership and for announcing a $50,000 matching pledge, helping us strengthen our ability to serve children and families in our community.

This year’s event was a little different. As our first year hosting, we chose an invitation-only format, with our board members inviting guests, so we could thoughtfully manage the size and ensure a meaningful experience for everyone involved.

If you weren’t invited, please know you were not overlooked! We simply didn’t know what to expect and wanted to make sure we could execute the event well.

And now that we’ve seen what’s possible…

We’re already looking ahead.

Next year, we hope to grow this event, welcoming more of our community to be part of this important work.

Because protecting children is not the responsibility of a few, it is a commitment we all share.

This incredible event brings together 80+ artists for a one-of-a-kind art show, with proceeds benefiting local nonprofits. The Hamilton Center for Child Advocacy is blessed to be a beneficiary this year.

Today, we gathered as a community to plant over 1,000 pinwheels at the Van Buren Police Department and the Hamilton Center, each one representing a child from Sebastian and Crawford counties who was served by the Hamilton Center for Child Advocacy in 2025.

Each pinwheel tells a story. A story of courage, resilience, and the beginning of healing.

We are incredibly grateful to our MDT partners, BACA, CASA, and all of the community members who stood alongside our staff to take part in this meaningful ceremony. Your presence is a powerful reminder that no child walks this journey alone.

If you happen to drive by and see the field of pinwheels, we encourage you to pause for just a moment. Reflect on the children they represent and the strength it takes to move forward after trauma.

Together, we are creating a community where children are supported, believed, and given the chance to heal.

Child abuse is more prevalent in our community than anyone wants to believe. The services provided by the Hamilton Center ensure that child victims of abuse and their families have access to the resources necessary for healing and rebuilding their lives after trauma. Please join us at our Pinwheel Ceremonies as we come together to raise awareness and show hope for a brighter future. Each pinwheel placed in the ground represents a child who was seen at the Center last year. A powerful reminder of why our work matters.
