The Sebastian County Bar Association members had a very special guest join our meeting today as we welcomed our friend Ann Pyle back to Fort Smith for lunch and fellowship with our local legal community. Ann serves as Executive Director of the Arkansas Bar Foundation, a statewide organization dedicated to advancing the legal profession and supporting future lawyers.

Each year, the Foundation awards approximately 50 endowed law school scholarships to students at the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville and the UALR Bowen School of Law in Little Rock.

Today, we were proud to contribute $1,000 from the Sebastian County Bar Association to support the Foundation’s annual scholarship fund and its important mission.

Thank you so much for making the journey to Fort Smith to visit us, today, Ann! We enjoyed getting to see you and appreciate all you do for our great organizations and the communities we serve!

The Sebastian County Bar Association was honored to welcome Arkansas Supreme Court Justice Nicholas Bronni as special guest speaker for our meeting this week.

We are grateful he took the time to travel to Fort Smith and share an engaging and informative presentation on appellate legal writing and oral advocacy with our members.

Our legal community and families had a great night together spreading holiday cheer and passing out free hot cooa at Creekmore Park this evening! We had beautiful weather and loved seeing so many families out enjoying the Christmas lights and rides on the Holiday Express train! Merry Christmas everyone!

We learned about all the great updates he has done to improve the organization, efficiency, and effectiveness of his office for our State.
