If you want to know how to get heat detection patches to REALLY stick even on wet cattle .. bust out a blower or even better - an air compressor and blow the water, dirt, loose hair off of them and stick those puppies on! You’ll lose your hearing in the process but 💯 worth it! They will NOT come off 🙌🏻👌🏼

As most of you are aware, our oldest son Zane is recovering from a septic knee infection. Unfortunately this all happened in the middle of some of our biggest groups of cows to be bred. We missed a couple but made it back in time to breed one of our biggest groups. - we love this group because we get to use our horses! We also love this group because our fabulous clients also take the time to help teach our children to be the next generation of ranchers - we are forever thankful for that! So while Zane was at home recovering, Rhett got some much needed cowboy time 🤠

Sorting heats 🐮 thanks to a solid nutrition program and good genetics we’re seeing the best percentage of heifers in standing heat than we’ve ever had with this group 🙌🏻

From snowstorms to grizzly sightings .. we’re getting some cattle bred 🐮 Shoutout to the incredible crew I get to work with this week! Crummy weather an all, this is one of my favorite jobs of the year right here 🎉
