We want to recognize the people who work tirelessly behind the scenes and often don't receive nearly enough credit for the time, energy, and resources they pour into our Flight of Honor program.

A special thank you to Mark McCoy, Cathy Bishop , and Vickie Chaplin, who have been with the program since its beginning last year. Their dedication, countless hours of work, and commitment have helped make this program what it is today. Flight of Honor would not have been possible without them!

We would also like to thank Colleen Wreed Quick, Kellye West Barrows, and Stacy Racy for their hard work planning, organizing, and helping with some of our fundraisers. Another thank you to Joe Smith as well, who was involved at the beginning and helped us get some of the things we needed.

We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to the Parsons, St. Paul, and Chetopa Honor Flight Hub. Their guidance, leadership, and support throughout this process have been invaluable. A special thank you goes to Bobbi Williams and Kala Green, who have been willing to answer questions, share their knowledge, and help us navigate EVERY step of this journey. Their encouragement and dedication have played a significant role in our success.

Most importantly, we want to express our deepest gratitude to our incredible small town community. Our first Flight of Honor trip was only possible because of the generosity, support, and dedication of our community members. This year's Flight of Honor cost more than $60,000 to make happen and together, we made it happen!
Whether you donated money, volunteered your time, donated supplies, attended events, donated an auction item, or simply supported our mission, please know that you played a part in honoring our veterans.

Words cannot adequately express how thankful we are for each and every person who contributed. Thank you for believing in this program and for helping us provide these deserving veterans with an unforgettable experience. We truly could not do it without you.

Words can’t describe this trip and the blessings we all just experienced. This is just a small taste of all we saw and the memories we made. Today we'd like to recognize our AMAZING Flight of Honor Guardians! 🇺🇸✈️

These dedicated volunteers have gone above and beyond to care for our veterans throughout their journey to Washington, D.C. They have carried extra luggage, pushed wheelchairs, provided encouragement, shared conversations, and offered emotional support during a trip that can be both physically and emotionally demanding.

Their kindness, patience, and commitment help make this experience truly unforgettable for the veterans we serve. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them and grateful for the compassion they show throughout the trip.

Parents, you should be proud of these young men and women. Words can't express our appreciation for them.

Thank you, Guardians, for honoring those who have served our country. ❤️🤍💙
