Relay for Life is a community based organization made up of people from all ages and backgrounds united to win the fight against cancer. Each year we devote one night to celebrate, remember and fight back. Teams and community members walk laps around the walking trail to show support and raise awareness for the fight against cancer.

Thanks to all for another Relay night of fun and memories. A shout out to our community for continuing to support cancer research, advocacy, and awareness. Another shout out to all our Relayers who work so hard to support ACS and finding a CURE. And last, but not least a GIANT shout out to all our Survivors. They are the reason all of us relay and some of the greatest people I know.

The Luminaria ceremony starts at dusk symbolizing the period of darkness a cancer patient goes through. At the end of the ceremony there will be fireworks provided by Advantages Lawn Care and then the luminaries are lit to show the light at the end of the darkness. A little HOPE can make a big difference.

LOTS of exciting things coming up! Next Thursday, May 29th, we invite all Survivors and a guest to attend our annual Survivor Dinner. This is an opportunity for Survivors and their Caregivers a chance to interact with others who've all faced the big "C". This is a free yummy dinner, entertainment, and where you can get your 2014 Survivor T-shirts. Please help us spread the word. This will be at 5:30 at the First Presbyterian Church on Crawford. More exciting news coming soon be sure to check our page for updates.
