🍿 FUN FRIDAY UPDATE! 🐯❤️

We are SO close! 🎉

Thanks to some incredible community support, we officially have 5 of our 7 Popcorn Fridays SPONSORED for the year! 🙌🍿

Andddd… we have ONE more sponsorship pending! 👀

That means if you’ve been thinking about joining in on one of our students’ favorite traditions, NOW is the time!

For $250, a local business, organization, group, or individual can sponsor one month of Popcorn Friday and help us keep this fun tradition popping for our elementary students. 🍿❤️

🐯🍿 TIGER PRIDE IN ACTION! 🍿🐯

We are SO excited to celebrate the 2nd year of an incredible partnership between USD 234 Elementary PTO and FSHS Work Skills Transition Program! ❤️🖤

And this partnership isn’t just something we’re talking about - these students are already running the show!

This year, students in the Work Skills Transition Program are helping make Popcorn Friday happen from start to finish. They’re:

🍿 Managing inventory
📦 Placing supply orders
🙌 Popping the popcorn
🐯 Helping keep one of our favorite school traditions running smoothly!

For the students, it means meaningful, hands-on real-world job experience right here in their school community.

For PTO, it means some pretty amazing extra hands helping us serve our schools.

And for all of us? It’s a perfect example of Tiger Pride in action. ❤️

But there’s another important piece of the Popcorn Friday puzzle…

📣 WE NEED OUR COMMUNITY!

Popcorn Friday is made possible through sponsorships from local businesses and community supporters. We need 7 sponsors to keep this tradition going throughout the school year - and we already have 3 of our 7! 🎉

That means we only need 4 MORE SPONSORS! 🍿

🐯 HEY, TIGER FAMILIES - COME HANG OUT WITH US! ❤️🖤

Our FIRST PTO meeting of the 2026–2027 school year is this Monday, and YOU’RE invited!

We’ll be sharing what PTO does, what we have planned for this school year, and all the different ways parents and guardians can be part of it.

Some people volunteer at events. Some help behind the scenes. Some share ideas. Some simply show up and lend their voice. It all matters. ❤️

There’s no pressure to sign up for everything - we just want our elementary families to know that there’s a place for you here.

Because the more families we have around the table, the more we can do for our students, staff, and schools. 🐾

Volunteering doesn’t have to mean a huge commitment. Whether you have one hour, one evening, one event, or want to be involved all year, we have a place for you!

📚 Help with Book Fairs
📦 Lend a hand with evening fundraiser pick-ups
🎯 Want to take the lead? Chair an event like Mother/Son Nerf War, Daddy/Daughter, the Color Run, or another PTO event!

Or maybe you simply want to be more involved in your student’s school experience and have a voice and a vote in how PTO funds are used to support our schools, staff, and students. ❤️

We meet once a month, share ideas, plan some pretty fun things for our kids—and there’s always a yummy snack! 😋
