📚 Yearbooks have officially been distributed and should’ve come home with students today!

And just like that… that’s a wrap on the 2026 school year! 🎉

Thank you to our incredible students, families, teachers, staff, volunteers, and community for helping make this year such a special one. From popcorn Fridays and book fairs to dances, color runs, and classroom celebrations — we loved making memories alongside all of you. ❤️

We hope everyone has a safe, fun, and relaxing summer break filled with sunshine, laughter, and plenty of adventures! ☀️🍉

The PTO is already looking forward to BIG things in the 2027 school year, and we can’t wait to see everyone back in the fall!

🎪 Volunteers Needed for the Winfield Scott Carnival! 🎪

We’re so excited to help bring back this fun Fort Scott tradition to celebrate the end of a great school year! But we need YOUR help to make it a success 💛

The PBIS Carnival at Winfield Scott Elementary is coming up on May 1st, and they are looking for volunteers to help with games, activities, and more.

This is such a fun way to support our students and be part of an amazing community event!

🍿 Thank You for Another Great Year of Popcorn Fridays! 🍿

Last week marked our final Popcorn Friday of the 2026 school year, and we want to take a moment to say thank you to the amazing people who make this student favorite possible.

A huge thank you to Fort Cinema for helping pop the popcorn during the month of April. Your support helped keep the tradition going and the popcorn flowing!

We are also incredibly grateful to all of the parent volunteers who gave their time throughout the year to help bag and distribute hundreds of bags of popcorn to our students. These small acts of service make a big impact and bring so much joy to the kids.

To the families who supported Popcorn Fridays—thank you! Your participation helps the PTO continue to create fun experiences for our students.

And a very special shoutout to the Fort Scott High School Special Education Department for their partnership this year. They helped with popping and bagging popcorn almost every month, and their support has meant so much to us and to our school community.

Popcorn Friday truly shows what can happen when students, families, schools, and local businesses come together.

Thank you all for helping make this year so much fun! 🍿❤️
