Please come visit us at the beer tent and participate in the pie auction, benefiting the Fort Recovery State Museum and Fort Recovery Historical Society!!

The Taste of Fort Recovery commitee is hard at work getting ready for the big night! Mark your calendars for June 18th on the brick street! We are SO excited to welcome Island Vibe back for this year. They were a huge hit last year and we heard from so many of you that you wanted them back again.

Vendor packets have gone out and we are excited to get the ball rolling! We are hoping to have some new vendors participate this year along with some of your other favorites.

2 changes to note for the 2026 Taste of Fort Recovery - the biggest is that Fort Recovery Harvest Jubilee bucks WILL NOT be accepted this year. The committee wants to encourage you to use them down at the Jubilee and support them.

The craft beer and wine area will not be occuring this year due to lack of available wineries and Tailspin closing. There will still be canned beer, pop and water sold by the Jubilee committee.

It's time to announce the winners!

Renee Overman and Amy (Eric) Wendel, have won $25 of Jubilee bucks each, the committee will have them at headquarters during the Jubilee!

Its a wrap! over the last 4 days, hundreds of people shopped the Fort Recovery Harvest Jubilee donation garage sale. To say we live in one of the best communities is an understatement 💜

THANK YOU to the 52 known donors (as some we arent sure who they were as they dropped it off when the Wendels werent home) is amazing itself!

THANK YOU to the people who shopped and spread the word

THANK YOU to Reliable Tent Rental for the donation of the tent and to Randy Wendel and Kathy Frazier Wendel for picking up the set up/tear down fee!

Thank you to the Fort Recovery Psi Iota Xi for advertising and waiving the fee for the sale to be in the advertisement!

and lastly THANK YOU to Kurt and Amy Wendel and family who opened their garage and took the time to price, organize and vacation days to run the sale! they also said several community members helped throughout the process and Jamie Fortkamp for helping sort the leftovers to make sure things went where they should!

The total sale brought in $3,527.25!!

this money will help go towards fun activities at the Jubilee for the kids to do!

Thank you to all who attended the wrap up meeting last week for the 2025 Fort Recovery Harvest Jubilee.

At the end of that meeting Kurt and Amy Wendel shared their decision to step away from our committee, into new opportunities to serve our community. We are so excited for them, but more than that we are thankful for their years of service to our organization!

They officially served as treasurers for SEVEN Jubilees, but acted in many additional roles outside of those official duties! That is an incredible service that does not go unnoticed. During their tenure they endured a flood, a pandemic, a tornado, along with the mass exodus of ride companies throughout Ohio.

They, along with their wonderful girls, put in countless hours and sacrifices to make sure our event was as amazing as it was each year.

When you see them out and about, be sure to share your thanks!

✨With that being said our small and mighty committee is looking for more volunteers!! If you think you might be interested, please reach out. Fresh ideas are welcomed and encouraged! New members are what keep events like ours going and growing! ✨
